Signing options

Choose API signing with your assigned wallet or sign requests with your own issuer wallet.

Choose a signing mode#

Assigned wallet through API signingExternal issuer signing
WalletYour account’s assigned issuer walletYour existing EOA or compatible ERC-1271 wallet
RequestOmit the action’s issuer and the envelope’s signature / issuerSignatureProvide issuer and its valid EIP-712 signature
AuthorizationAPI key with signing enabled and permitted limitsAPI key authenticates the request; the wallet signs the action separately
CustomerSeparate customer authorization and customer-paid checkout in both modes

Enable API signing#

In Business → Integrations, create a key, authorize API signing, and allow the loyalty IDs it may sign for. Set the maximum amount per action and a daily count limit. Daily signing usage is counted across the account’s API signing requests in UTC, not by completed checkouts. Keep the key on your backend.

The action must include a future deadline no more than seven days away. All other required fields remain required. Omitting only issuer or only signature is invalid; null and empty strings do not select API signing. See the working quickstart or the external signing reference.

Keep a program’s issuer unchanged#

Program identity depends on issuer and loyaltyId. One API account may use both modes, but an externally issued program cannot later use a different assigned wallet as its issuer. Changing mode does not migrate a program or its balances. Save the issuer, chain, and loyalty ID with your program configuration; Loyfin does not infer your intended token from an omitted issuer.

Revoke access and rotate keys#

Disabling API signing stops new delegated signatures. Rotating the API key disables API signing for the new key until you authorize it again. Neither action revokes signatures already issued or cancels existing onchain balances. Reconcile pending conversions before replacing them. For wallet recovery and external signer changes, see Issuer keys and rotation.
