Docs/Sell and trade points/Loyfin Primary
Loyfin Primary
Sell a complete lot of issuer inventory for a fixed USD price.
Create an offering#
In Business, open Primary. Choose an existing program and expiry batch held in your business wallet, enter the complete lot size and total USD price, and set a purchase deadline. Review and publish to lock those points in the Primary contract. The issuer receives the full lot price. Buyers pay an additional fee, initially 0.25%, to Loyfin. Its rate is frozen when the offering is published; later rate changes apply only to new offerings. An 80 USD lot costs 80.20 USD at that rate. Network fees still apply.
Inventory must already exist in the issuer wallet. Use an issuance to tokenize the brand’s distribution allocation into that wallet first. Primary distributes existing points; it does not create a second balance or change the brand’s redemption promise.
Who can buy?#
- Public: listed in Primary and available to any buyer.
- Unlisted: hidden from discovery; any buyer with the private link can purchase.
- Selected partner: the buyer needs both the private link and the specified wallet.
Private access does not hide blockchain data. Prices, inventory and transactions remain visible onchain. The link contains a secret in its URL fragment. Keep it out of logs and analytics. Purchase authorization is bound to the buyer wallet, so another wallet cannot reuse a copied transaction signature.
Settlement and expiry#
Buyers purchase the entire lot. Payment goes to the issuer and points go to the buyer in one transaction; failure reverses both. There are no partial fills or buy orders. The issuer can cancel and recover the lot before point expiry, including after the purchase deadline. After point expiry, recovery is impossible. Legacy programs with transfer restrictions may also prevent purchase or withdrawal. New programs have no transfer pause.
Verification and integration#
Verified means Loyfin reviewed the issuer’s identity. The status applies to its offerings and public checkout identity. It does not guarantee redemption or value. Verification is maintained by administrators and can be revoked.
GET /primary supports cursor pagination, search, issuer, verification and status filters. Business draft and private-link endpoints require a signed-in account. Direct integrations call create(), buy() and cancel() on LoyfinPrimary. Created records the frozen fee rate; Purchased records the paid fee. Created, Purchased, Cancelled and FeeChanged events are indexed separately from issuance and redemption events. These do not trigger brand issuance/redemption webhooks.
