Networks

Choose a network for each program. Signatures, balances and receipts stay on that network.

Choose a network#

The Loyfin web app currently operates on Base (8453). Examples in these Docs use Base. Other known networks are not enabled in the web app. An API deployment may support a different set: inspect GET /chains, then verify its deployed contracts and indexing configuration before using it.

New programs in Business use Base. Existing programs keep their network for every issuance, redemption and configuration change. Customers hold rewards and pay transaction fees on that network. Loyfin does not bridge balances between networks.

Integration#

Set chainId in both the signed action and its EIP-712 domain. Use the program's chain when reading balances or submitting transactions. The same contract address on another network is a separate contract with separate state. A signature for one network cannot authorize an action on another.

Pass chainId to list and analytics endpoints. Without it, those endpoints use the API deployment's default network. A token detail URL uses its database ID and resolves its network automatically. Identify onchain tokens by chain ID and contract address, and receipts by chain ID, transaction hash and log index.

Reserve or deduct offchain points before creating an issuance. Credit offchain points only after a confirmed redemption on the correct network. Include the chain ID in reconciliation records and webhook deduplication keys.
